Hans Hoffmann talking about his scientific studies.
On 20th March, the IRT attended the “National Engineers Day” organized at Francazal area by the IESF association (Ingénieurs et Scientifiques de France). This year, the chosen theme was “Engineers and scientists: artisans of the future” and the event attracted nearly 200 high school students, students and active engineers.

As a PhD student at IRT Saint Exupéry, Hans Hoffmann led a workshop to motivate high school students towards scientific careers.

On another workshop, Céline Tevino, assistant at the Scientific Direction, promoted apprenticeship to students and parents. In particular, she talked about “Alternance Aerospace”, an operation dedicated to apprenticeship in the aeronautical and space industry in the Occitanie region, launched last year by IRT Saint Exupéry with its partners. This combines both a website where candidates can get information and apply to job offers published by the companies, and a recruitment exhibition scheduled on coming 15th of May.

And finally, at the end of this day, Patrick Martinez, Training development manager, participated in a round table discussion on the topic “Responding to a still unknown future”.
